Tried it on pc but could not get into it really. That said, i am a battlefield player so take my opinion with a pinch of salt. If you like the hyper arcade game style you may like it. Not that bfv is a milsim but it is just more to my liking. I can feel Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose, Arma, Squad players eyes burning into me as i typed that hehe.

Tell us what you think after playing a few rounds. I think besides warzone PUBG is the only decent br game unless you are insane and enjoy firestorm on bfv.

It's what EA do. The Madden series is especially notable for this as the 2019 edition still has "2018" labelling in the virtual stadium crowds.

I'll try it tomorrow. One thing I have been told is to turn of crossplay if your on console as you'll get shredded by pc players.

Cold never get into BFV which is strange as I loved BF4. Might give it another go as I've got EA access. Getting the FPS itch again. The only one I play regular is Destiny 2

Just started to download BFV now!! Don't think I've played that one. I was thinking of BF One. What I loved about BF4 was being a support class was just as good as any other class. You could play a game and not get a single kill but still get loads of xp for healing and dropping ammo for team mates. Is that still an option?

Think so boss yeah, not played bf4 for a while myself. Unless you can heavily modify servers it should be still like that.

Iwo Jima, Wake Island and Provence are the maps everyone seems to love on bfv. Conquest is brilliant on Iwo Jima imo but i think most maps are decent besides fjell (murder box if enemy have a good pilot) and panzerstorm (for tank lovers). They removed the sweet spot to so shit snipers can't one shot you like they could on bf1. Medic players still suck though, they will let you bleed out whilst being stood right on top of you hehe.

Bridge on twisted steel is good for sniping so is Hamada and Iwo Jima. You also get fools on the top of the bridge structure in twisted steel, easy kills for snipers. Aerodrome is a good map, you can snipe around the map or go to C and get into the meat grinder. Devastation and Rotterdam are both nice maps to imo.

STG is good but recoil goes up to the right, Gewehr 1-5 with a 3x is a sweet loadout on assault to, so is the selbstlader with a 3x imo, many don't use it though because you need to be decent with the follow up shot. If you go as sniper the enfield is a fast bolt action. ZH and rsc are good for a semi auto sniper. Kag is my fav though, very satisfying headshots. Has fastest bullet velocity along with the kar98.

I would jump on wth you but i am on pc sadly. Tell us what you reckon, would be interested in your opinion on it boss, enjoy :-)

Will do. My pc is ok but not really for big AAA games

16GB ram
GTX 1060

for gaming I use it for strategy games like FM20, Stellaris, CK2 CIV 6 ect

Can get GTA V running @1080p 120fps though with no issues

Mainly use my pc for work at the minute as I'm working from home and I log in remotely and some of the programmes and systems we use are power hungry.

AAA games I use my Xbox One X

Defo will add you boss sure, that rig is good for 60fps1080p on bfv with low settings. I play with low settings anyway because all of the bells and whistles actually detract from the core gun play imo. Ray tracing especially will destroy framerates but it does look bloody lovely with everything on high.

The cpu in that system will bottleneck, they've gone backwards in processing power in laptops IMO, the cost of a good new one is substantial.

Yeah the cpu will be the killer on that, i actually thought it was 4 core with 8 threads so 2 core with 4 threads will defo be a bit of a pisser. 60fps at 900p you reckon on low? Not much cop with amd myself so not sure.

AMD chips are hungry for RAM so 16gb is a good amount, it's a bit puzzling why the new laptops from AMD particularly for gaming have such a weak chip, an i5 2500 is a comparable chip which to put in perspective is a 12 year old CPU. Pairing it with a very reasonable GPU seems counterproductive.

The AMD CPU's are killing Intel in desktops but a quick google for laptops with Ryzens in them I have come to the conclusion they are overpriced and the manufacturers are relying on people looking at the name Ryzen and thinking Whoohoo, if I am being generous they might have put these chips in because they have a low TDP and keep the heat down.

I'm a bit of an AMD fanboy but it's a bit disappointing from the manufactures considering the cost of them.

I found the exact same thing when I bought COD4 remastered. I was great at COD MW and MW2, always pretty much the best player in the lobby, kill death ratio averaging about 2.5 iirc. Then went to work for a decade, came back, and I'm that chump who loses every firefight he gets into.

That was always the test imo of how good you were, what happened when you and another player stumbled into each other unexpectedly. Anyone can do well by camping, or finding good spots to pick people off, but the true test is who is faster on the draw. I went from pretty much always winning that to losing every time.

Sad times. Single player games are my future

In first person shooters my head must be the size of a melon and have a target painted on it, the slow realisation before lockdown when my 12 year old grandson was laughing at me because I was pretty shit even though I was trying really really hard.

COD is a game that list amongst the worst I ever play, things move fast I can't find my grenades and I panic so much I am always running out of rounds :)
