As you’re the expert do you know if it’s likely that we’ll see improved or alternate VFR mapping that shows things like place names on the popup VFR map?

Would love to know what towns and villages I’m going over, major roads, rivers etc.

I've impressed myself with how well I can tell a town/city from the air. But if you haven't been there or lose you're bearings it can really throw you.

Like the other day I thought it was coming towards Stansted in the North East of London but I was actually heading towards Heathrow in the far West of London....

A good VFR map should make navigating so much easier.

Haven't played console in over a month, still playing LOTR Online on my laptop.....it's very dated and maybe a bit too easy but i'm only playing for the theme and world, would like to see all the Middle Earth map before calling it quits.

I'd absolutely love it if we got a proper LOTR game. I think it could be fantastic as an open world RPG game. The Shadow of Mordor ones just weren't good enough

Apparently Amazon are working on one but not much is known yet. It would be on console too which is great for me, as right now i'm playing on a fairly dated laptop. I mostly play solo anyway. At present this game is the only video game representation of a full Middle Earth (it even has Mordor, which is why I returned) - but it's clunky to play and slightly childish in design.
