General Videogame Thread

Ok. Bored at home (it's our weekend and it's Ramadan so can't drink or eat anywhere in public), thinking of nipping to the shop and buying the PS4 VR bollocks.

Is it worth it yet?

Are there any games that make the full use of it?

Yes I've played a few games of it mate currently the servers are utter shit tho & it's not worth £30. As for game play it's fun at the start but becomes very boring very quickly it's literally the same over and over again can be a laugh with a few mates.

Resident Evil 7 is the only game ive seen so far that offers the VR experience and a decent game. For me it was too much money for something that didnt have the games to back it up yet so i decided against, plus i think the wife would of chopped my nads off. That was a few months ago though and maybe more games have been released.

Resident Evil mate best experience imo also farpoint. Although tbh I've had the VR since release date bought myself and my son 1 and neither have been used since at least Feb not enough games at the minute hopefully it improves.

Fantastic experience tho.

Thanks. In which case, I think I shall give it a miss then.

Far Cry is one of my favourite video game series. I cannot wait for Far Cry 5!

Whilst the gameplay did become somewhat repetitive, I personally enjoyed FarCry Primal. In my view, the game had superior villains to those in FarCry 4 (excluding Pagan Min), and had the added advantage of not featuring Yogi and Reggie, who I found extremely annoying for some reason!
 
Got my Tekken 7 today. Anyone playing it? I am having problems connecting online against other player, says lost connection. Seems a widespread issue though. Disappointed because looking forward to the game for years and teething issues on the day getting it. It will resolve but feels like having a cake but not able to eat it.
 
Anyone bothering with ESO Morrowind? I loved Skyrim and Oblivion but wasnt blown away at all by ESO so not sure i fancy this one at all.

Got slated ESO.... problem is no subscription MMO's don't tend to last long as they tend to attract a community of utter bellends.
I'm playing A Realm Reborn and just recently paid £45 for a 180 day subscription, been playing it for the past 1 and a half weeks and put about 80 hours into it! It's like crack, addictive as fuck and I've pre ordered Stormblood as well.
