The gameplay feels better, tackling has improved 10 fold, apart from city fans doing poznan seems more realistic! could be a good fifa this time
Yep agree with you feels less like an arcade game. They seem to have got a better balance between pace, physicality and passing. Plus there doesn’t seem to be a best formation to play against all teams.

I've been really wanting to this year because of the whole package, game modes, etc.... But pro evo is such a lovely game there's no chance. On the pitch its incredible

Don’t disagree that pro evo seems so fluid by comparison, but FIFA 19 is much closer to it than its previous incarnations.

I'll have to give the demo a go then. The all round package on FIFA is so much better than Pro so of I can get to grips with the gameplay I'll be laughing. Also helps to play pals online as I'm the only pro evo stalwart left

Really enjoying Pro Evo, even if there are a couple of things that need patching. The game just plays like football, pace isn't the be all and end all and you actually have to plan an attack rather than just leg it straight towards the opposition goal. Then you get into the tactics options and there are so many little things you can tinker with to make your team play the way you want. Even the keepers seem to resemble keepers for a change, instead of those weird inflatable long armed things people sometimes have blowing in the wind outside used car places.

I particularly like that dribbling and skill moves are generally pretty difficult to pull off, so when you actually do it feels fantastic. My only issue so far is they've messed up the AI a bit this year so every team, regardless of how they should be playing, seems to be entirely about getting it wide and putting in ground crosses. That needs fixing ASAP, as in previous years the computer AI variety between teams was outstanding. ML is also having a few issues with the transfer AI, but they've already announced they are on that so it should be fixed soon.

Currently trying to get the ultimate bronze/white ball team full of people linked to City/Portugal in MLonline. I really like the way signing players works in that tbh, it's weird but fun

NEED SOME HELP! I'm gonna get a ps4 for the little un/ myself for chrimbo. Now is it worth paying an extra £100 so I can play 4k or not. Any advise?
My 2c

Whether worth it purely from graphics perspective is a personal thing. If, like me, you are upgrading from a ps2 or even Ps3, even a ps4 regular would look fabulous.

The way I would see it, if you have a 4k TV and going to buy 7,8, or more full price games or playing a lot of vr games, go for it.

If you are going on a budget, that £100 can buy you nearly a dozen cheap used games like Knack or Infamous (most pre-2017 titles you can find for 5-15£ at places like cex)

Another thing to keep in mind - it's very easy to swap out the hard drive, and easier to do at the outset. Not just for the capacity but also you could think about an sshd, much cheaper than ssd, and significant speed benefits. Would be ~ £60 net of resale value of inbuilt hard drive

If you have 4K tv then yes otherwise save yourself £100 or buy few more games

Cheers lads, I've already got 4k tv and their bundling spiderman with ps4 at mo, so might go for it as that looks amazing.

Played the FIFA 19 demo and am pleasantly surprised. Could it be that this is actually the better football game than PES this year?

I’ve played it and not noticed any changes to the gameplay. Career Mode won’t have improved, it was better 10 years ago than it is now. Love career mode but I’m getting bored of the same game year in year out.
