General Videogame Thread

Same here got inside and clocked the safe on the wall before realising I didnt have any dynamite to blow it. The only way im making money at the minute is flogging stuff to the fence, all keeps going on the bounties im accidentally racking up.
Yes i am finding that as well. That particular mission i ended up trying to shoot my way out and ended up with a $190 bounty. There was no other way out i could see as they were all just trying to kill me and the only way out was through the front door. The amount of times ive shot someone accidentlly as well is very frustrating. Then the witness runs off to grass and i either have to run or follow and kill the witness which normally just escalates the problem.

Lesson learnt for me is violence is to be avoided where possible otherwise all my money goes on bounties.

I was leaving the post office in St Denis after paying one off last night, got on my horse, turned a corner and some numpty was in the road stepped in front of my horse. Another $20 bounty. Which meant I couldnt do the bounty hunter mission I was on my way to do.

Think I might have a look at these treasure maps next time I get an hour or two to play.

Have dropped RDR2 for now. Too...big? I think that's it. Still only on chapter 2 as well.

Decided to go a bit more melancholy and play What Remains Of Edith Finch. An indie title and pretty much a story driven walking simulation, not everyone's cup of tea sure, but a pretty engrossing story. Nice change of pace, back to RDR2 by weekend though I bet.

Tip a lad at work gave me. Spend your money and then surrender yourself to the sheriff, you lose what money you have and bounty is taken off of you. Said it cost him 4 dollars and got rid of a 290 dollar bounty

Anyone playing Black Ops 4? Wondering if I should use some of my blizz balance on it.

Me, The multiplayer mode is so so, a lot of rehashed maps from the old Cod games but smooth, decent game play. Blackout is a decent battle royale experience in comparison to the other BR titles out there. Zombies is Zombies and not much has changed from previous titles. What I will say is the amount of updates they are continually dropping is refreshing in comparison to Pubg and they're continually changing the game for the better. I've not bothered with the new Battlefield this time around as the beta wasn't the greatest experience. If your'e a FPS player I'd say you can't go wrong with the new Cod at all.

If you want FPS multiplayer then head over to BF V. It's rather good. Ignore the beta.

Yeah everything I'm reading says they have turned BFV around in a big way. Either it's some incredible well planted shilling or the issues with it were overblown and largely been fixed.

I'm playing BO4 and must say as my first in the series since modern warfare I'm having a blast. Obviously cod is a bit of a shameless cash grab but it let's me play multi-player in almost 10 minute chunks, so I can rattle out a few games here and there without feeling like I need to clear my schedule to sit down and play. All I'd recommend is disabling the lobby party chat. Unless you want to hear a load of energy-drinked up children.
