Played around on Astro’s Playroom that comes pre installed on the PS5 and wow the new DualShock controller is phenomenal. The triggers have resistance and fight you when you go to push them down and the haptic vibrations of the controller really makes you feel like you are walking on the type of ground the character is like sand or water or metal. Has to used to be believed but that alone makes it worth getting.
Will try some other titles later to put it through it’s paces.

If it wasn’t for the people on here who have bought one, I’d question whether the PS5 actually exists. Seems to be like gold dust.
Didn't realise the hostess club minigame returns in Yakuza Kiwama 2, it's probably the best minigame I can recall playing, so addictive. Managing a stable of prossies shouldn't be as fun as it is, but it's fantastic.
The Yakuza games in general are ace, kind of annoyed it took me so long to try them as they are just endless fun. They are the laziest franchise going, in that it's literally the same game made about 8 times now, even in the same location with the same characters, but it's so fucking addictive.

Fuck Very and their shit customer service absolute twats, no fucking Xbox now saying 2 December, taking the piss, I’ll be back in work by then.
Safe to say im in love with my PS5 already. No denying its an ugly fucker, but that 4k. Glorious. It's so quiet too. Controller feels phenomenal. Menu and smoothness of everything is so lovely.
And then you open up Miles Morales and bloody hell. It looks stunning. Astro's Playroom which comes free with the console is an absolute delight too.

I'm 36 years old and today has made me feel like a 10 year old on Christmas day lol Zombies on Call of duty Cold War has been an absolute blast it plays so smoothly it's fantastic.
PS5 I'm very impressed.

Been reading about people getting packs of cat food, a foot massager and other things instead of their PS5 consoles, especially from Amazon!
Also the first reports of hardware issues now that the console has been released for mass testing. Apparently some PS5s are suffering from rattling noises when playing graphically demanding games. Anyone seen that so far?

Yeah I never believed the hype before but 4K gaming is a game changer. I was playing the new Assassins Creed and was climbing up some mountains and when I reached the top my jaw dropped at the view.

Three weeks to Cyberpunk. The anti-hype has been interesting to watch. People saying it's going to be a big flop, LMAO, social media trends are a hell of a way of influencing your mind to ignore what's right in front of your eyes. And that's depth, worthwhile content. Not quite as much content as Ubi but all of it is wayyy more immersive and integrated into a single, whole experience..
About 5 minutes skimming journalists who are giving impressions of the previews, and a couple of lines of dialogue, and I'm putting my mortgage on this blowing every other story experience game out there away. Takeaway is that the city is lively as hell, the characters are plausible and relatable, side quests are indistinguishable from the main story, and everything unfolds so seemlessly you'll not even realise you're making choices and it's all changing. Same thing as Witcher III, combat won't be perfect, but there'll be more than one very different approach for you to mix and match from. Apparently one major difference is that you're not under attack from enemies most of the time, unlike constantly facing monsters in the wilds in TW2. More like the city sections in that regard.
PS5/Series X owners are going to be in gaming heaven, I'm sure. I'll still be using the same system I had to play Blood and Wine, but I'm confident it's going to be a special experience.
Forget Boris, CDPR will save a lot of Christmases this year.

It depends on what he has already. If he has an Xbox One X then it’s really not worth it at the moment. But if he has any other type of Xbox One then it’s a big upgrade and I would say worth the money.For someone who hasn't touched a video game since Pitfall in the 80's, is this new X Box worth the money? The 14 year old step son wants one and the missus is finding it hard to get one. Is it worth going the extra mile?
Just make sure if you decide to get one to get the Xbox Series X.
They also do a Series S which is much cheaper but besides not having a Blu-ray drive it’s also a lot less powerful, hence the cheaper price tag.

Being a pc gamer im not really hyped about the new consoles yet because they havent got kuch real next gen stuff.
There was some talk about new games using the SSD architecture to create next gen graphics and huge worlds, something that pcs dont have yet, but we have yet tl see anything like that. Alot of the 4k 60fps seems like graphics are turned down in order to achieve the 60fps

Ps5 owner tip. Give God of War a go. Fuck me its an upgrade on the ps4 version. Looks incredible in 4k.
Question please:
Say I bought a PS5 and inserted my PS4 Witcher 3 disc in. Would the game speed be rapid and graphics upgraded to 4k (on my 4k TV). Is it as simple as that?
