Yep. I got my PS5 on Tuesday and spent yesterday setting it up and trying some games. As long as you have ps+ you should have a tab on your ps5 game menu that shows them all. Just download them as you please. I have started with God of War and so far it looks stunning. I was hoping for an open world type RPG but it feels at the moment like you are restricted to where it wants you to go. Downloaded crash bandicoot for my lad who's 10 as he is desperate to play on it and transferred a few games over i had on ps4 with the save data.

i wil be doing this later on :)

Rockstar are cunts. We’ve been waiting for a new GTA for coming up to a decade now. By time GTA 6 is released, it will be 2023/2024. I’ll be grateful of a Vice City/San Andreas remaster, but I’d much prefer if they concentrated on releasing GTA 6.When they announced they were bringing GTA 5 to PS5, that’s when I knew we wouldn’t see GTA 6 for years.

Good point. At least (well you might be, I don’t know) you are not as frustrated as a James Bond fan like me. Sean Connery: Dr No 1962, FRWL ‘63, Goldfinger ‘64, Thunderball ‘65 and YOLT in ‘67 so five films in six years. Daniel Craig, his first in 2006 Casino Royale, his 5th NTTD: 2021 so five films in fifteen years and life is supposed to be quicker these days!

I bought Dead Island for £2.59 from the PS store.

The gameplay is repetitive but it’s a lot of fun.

Might be worth a many years later look. I remember when the first trailer was released and there was much hype. Turned out it was Cyberpunk 2011 in the end.

Booted up the Halo collection on Xbox Gamepass there is an actual toggle to see what it originally looked like, wow it’s some upgrade!

For the money it’s a no brainier games pass, I’ve been smashing Destiny 2 beyond light it would’ve cost me £55 plus ps plus for the year so about £80 or so for one game, games pass ive got that for a year plus all the other games!

The amount of games its let me download, play for 10 minutes, then delete, has saved me a lot tbh. Not quite as good as lovefilm used to be for churning through games to find hidden gems, but the best current option

FarCry is one of my favourite franchises with 4 or Primal being my favourite.

I loved FarCry 4. It was my first Far Cry game, it came out around Christmas and I just loved the Himalayan setting and the newness of the series to me, and it kind of merged with my general build-up to Christmas happiness.

Don't think I've really dived into a game and enjoyed it as much since.

I'm thinking of getting Primal at some point, but i still have number 5 and the New Dawn ones to get through yet. The only thing i didn't like was the 1st person style, think i'd prefer this in a 3rd person but i've got used to it since i've been playing CyberPunk the last few weeks.

Same. Though Far Cry 3 was the one that got me into it. I consider FC3 and FC4 two of my favourite games of all time! Just incredibly satisfying sandboxes of fun in beautiful locations. Cracking villains too. Felt 5 and New Dawn were quite disappointing tbh. I hated the 'approach the missions in any order!' approach, plus the relatively mute main character. Really watered down the story and experience. It's a FPS ffs, just give me a main character and take me throguh the areas one by one. Works fine. Hoping 6 is a return to form.

Yeah it's pretty good up to now. I'd not played much games since probably Black Ops 2 on the PS3 (which i didn't really like tbh). I then got back into gaming with the first of the newer series of Tomb Raider and that was great.

Think that's part of the new age of gaming isn't it, you can do anything, in the order you want to do it. Agree with you though.
