General Videogame Thread

Just been put on to a hilarious point and click game, The Procession to Cavalry. Highly recommend to any Monty Python fans out there.
It's the follow-up to a game called Four Last Things. Very amusing but short-lived.

A third game 'Death of the Reprobate' is due out sometime in the near future.

I'm still playing Valheim. Really enjoying it.

Iv decided not to check out the Internet about it, no tips, cheats, information, videos etc. Just playing it like the old days when there was no Internet and wow it makes the game more exciting, not knowing what is coming, or how to deal with stuff really makes you get the most out of a game.

PGA2k23 is on PS plus and is so addictive. Superb game.
I tried it and found it great for a few hours then quite boring. Used to love building your character up on the old tiger woods golf and gradually improving but this just seemed really easy from the off. Other than a few tweaks to your player there isn’t much depth to it. Also lack of iconic courses also was a big negative for me.

I'm still in the honeymoon phase of the first few hours.

I don't get to play too often though so might be a good one for me as will only play a round once a week.

Cold War campaign is also decent, not a bad month for PS plus. I've still got NBA 2k23 and Jurassic Park to play from the previous month. Great value given I only paid £25 when PS plus was on offer back in Dec.

Yeah I downloaded it for my son and it was fun for a while, just faded very quickly. Struggling to find much at the moment to really get into, seems to be a real lull in good games. tempted to give cyberpunk a go now it’s had a good chance to sort itself out.

Cyberpunk is a great shout, it sounds fixed and it's only around £20 in some places. On my bucketlist but got a few campaigns to finish. I don't get much time and when I do I normally play MW2 online.

Fifa 23 career mode gameplay is so poor. I don't know whether to invest in FC24, was so disappointed with FIFA 23.

I only play ultimate team I wish they did it as standalone to save money

JP 1 or JP 2? First game was great.

Same here.

Yeah I always dip in and out of ultimate team but the game play pisses me off so much I always end up just turning it off. Been play DMZ on MW2 which I’ve enjoyed a lot as a lot less sweaty than warzone and much more enjoyable for me. Doubt I’ll bother with FC24 to be honest.

I play Zombies on Cold War. Outbreak mode in solo is a great way to learn a few maps, often come out as top scorer in a team but haven't yet managed to successfully exfiltrate

GTA VI pretty much confirmed for release on the next 12 months.

Rockstar held a sales meeting with their shareholders this week and advised they will receive significant media attention and a huge increase in sales in Q1/Q2 2024

I've been reading that it going to be out for years let's hope that's true

GTA 6 and Starfield in the space of 12 months is probably going to keep me gaming well into my 40s.
