Started Undisputed tonight, nice to have a boxing game after so long without. It’s good but can be annoying, only had four fights won my first 3 by KO but had to knock them down 5 times each for the stoppage. Got to the final and lost a UD got dropped in the first and third and dropped him in the second. Very much felt like the opponent got better for the final

Im enjoying it, but find it frustrating whenever or wherever you knock your opponent down the same repetitive cut scene has them trying to get up from the middle of the ring

Yep it’s the little things, I started with a quick match and Jonny nelson said the same thing at the start of every round. Rather not have commentary if that’s the case

Yeh the commentary is so repetitive it’s a joke, enjoying the game overall so far though

Battfield Vietnam on pc for me, I remember grouping up and flying a Huey Dow the river with the music blaring in the speakers dropping veryone in the centre of a battle and flying out, what a giggle it was.

They have reinvented the old one in a 2024 version....so they may do it with that one too.
The music was great in that game.....added to the buzz and made it real.

After some advice, not a videogame question but a general pc one.

My daughter is currently doing a BTEC in games technology and the likelihood is she’ll carry that on to a degree course - it’s either that or an apprenticeship as there’s a few games companies that partner with the college she’s at.

Her PC at home’s an entry to mid level gaming PC that she got three years ago. Rather than upgrade, I’m thinking of getting her a new build that’ll hopefully keep her going for a few years. The two main bits of software they use are Unreal Engine and then Maya for 3d rendering.

Any idea what gpu/cpu I should be looking at? I tend to buy pcs prebuilt from scan but been out of the game for a while now and not sure what’s considered a good build or capable of running what she needs.

Me and the missus have just completed Far Cry 5 in co-op. Great fun.

Started Far Cry 6 together last night.

We couldn't get into Far Cry 6. Way too much fannying about with weapons and just not feeling the guerilla vibe at all.

Far Cry New Dawn is ok so far. Doing it in co-op and much more relatable after the great time we had with 5.

I kept on trying to sort out a wing suit in Far Cry 6 and then I remembered it wasn't Just Cause!

Primal is well worth a look. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was.

Totally get it mate. Me and the girlfriend coop a lot. Really enjoyed the Gears of War games, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint were fantastic. If it's not on Gamepass you'll find a couple of cheap copies of some gems in CEX. Picked up the entire Borderlands series and DLCs for 25 quid on sale. Best coop fun we've had. Borderlands 2 and the DLC is absolutely brilliant.

If you're new to XBox you should be a able to get a free month of Ubisoft+ for you both on each console. Ghost Recon games are on there as well as a few others.

There's a lot of couch coop and online in the 360 catalogue as well that have FPS and HDR boost. Splinter Cell Blacklist has some absolutely amazing coop and is 3 quid a copy in CEX. Looks current gen but was made over a decade ago
