We haven't hosted the opening game since 2017 (excluding 2020-21 when the first round was postponed due to having champions league in August caused by Covid-19). Why? I think in theory a team should host the opening game or the concluding game but in these years still a lot of last round also being away... Is it due to stadium availability in mid-Aug?

I’m not complaining, first game always clashes with a festival we go to and the first week back at school here.
