George H. W. Bush was definitely a "dirty old man" - frequently grabbing at attractive females.
Too - he was a compassionate leader - willing to compromise - able to promote rational facts-based solutions in spite of party ideology.
On balance - I'm willing to forgive his inappropriate behavior towards females - other than that, he was a decent human being and a worthy president.

That said - I think that G.H.W. Bush was a "victim" of his times. If overly aggressive behavior towards females is socially acceptable (as it was when he grew up/took office) - then how could he learn that this behavior was absolutely wrong/hurtful/despicable - he couldn't.
One's moral compass is largely shaped by one's parents - for me, Bush's aggressive attitude towards woman was - probably? - a factor of his upbringing in the climate of acceptability of these actions.

At any rate - G.H.W. Bush for me was a flawed individual - but an honest man, willing to compromise, and as President, was worthy of respect, whether or not you agreed with his philosophy.
The last reigning Republican centrist.
That's a long time to wait for a senior pass !
And that's a terrible comment. Should Trump's daughter die under similar circumstances, I wouldn't for a second think of posting this remark upon Trump's death. A truly distasteful remark.
