It’s a fact of life you employ who you know, who you can relate to and who you are comfortable with. It’s why Big Sam, Hughes and the like keep getting jobs. It’s as much an unconscious thing as anything else. Forcing employers to look outside there comfort zone is no bad thing.

I honestly couldn’t care less what color or nationality a coach is, as I care about results. However, I do think a National Team manager should be from that country. Again, I don’t care about race, even in that instance, just nationality.

I understand the “lack of opportunity” argument, but have yet to see any compelling statistics, only anecdotal “feelings.”

Very true I was merely making the point that the right to peaceful protest is a civil liberty and is not conditional on whether or not we support it
 
The reason for being out in a crowd whilst there’s an ongoing pandemic is of no significance. Whether it’s decent people wanting change from years of discrimination, people with nothing to actually protest against gathered with the sole aim of protecting a statue from vandalism or yobs that just want to cause violence from either end of the spectrum, they are all breaking the social distancing rules and are all as guilty as the other when the country with the highest death toll in Europe gets smacked with a brutal second wave.

It's pretty deceitful not to put it in context of numbers, percentages or cause relating to the overall 'protests'.

To omit that seems, in the very least, bizarre.

Well, let's be honest, last week I mentioned how even when the SD rules were contravened, it was seen the an extremely large number were wearing masks.

Seems the other way around from what I've seen in these marches.

Marching with an eye to respecting what the Gov has said versus not really giving a flying fuck.

Bit of a difference...

The warning was there about the football firms turning out,football or no football though,after what we witnessed last weekend it was inevitable some defenders would turn out,to protect the statues if nothing else,and so they did.

Ahh well cunts fighting cunts is a win win for me

Disagree on that had the thug minority last week been policed and stopped from committing acts of vandalism this week could have been avoided.

They are just a bunch of bellends. No identity, no sense of importance so they tag on to these ridiculous groups instantly making them feel important. Both sides are idiots. Most of them couldn’t give a shit about what they are supposedly standing up for. They just want a day out and to feel like their voice matters, which for 99.99% of the time it doesn’t.
