I suspect (and hope) at this point that we won't see some bullshit sentence when he's inevitably found guilty this time. There's too much riding on it. Maybe I'm naive.

Before the pandemic and before the riots, #45 had the Black and poor communities in work, even if it was really shit work. Policy-wise for that community, nothing really changed between the parties.

The only difference is the pres has gone off his rocker.

Of course, but for a black man to die because of the brutal pressure applied by a white authoritarian knee to his neck has particular pathos.

I agree and it was sickening to watch. looking at some of the cops the last few days nothing has changed. I'd hate to be a black guy living in the states. How they change things who knows, but having that prize prick as a president wont help the cause.

This isn't the thread for it so I won't get into it but Biden is in a significantly stronger position now than Clinton was at this point in the race by just about any metric. People feel stung after being wrong in 2016 and as a result are attributing some sort of black magic effect to Trump's numbers, but he's polling worse than any elected incumbent since scientific polling began, and if it were literally anyone else we'd be talking about how this guy is definitely going to lose.

Some polls just prior to the election had Clinton at 95% chance of winning the election.
