It's an ingrained racism that pervades all of Western culture. I'm a liberal white man and I absolutely abhor racism but it's ingrained in our culture, the US thing is the focus point that should make us all take a long hard look at ourselves. Our daily interactions with people of a different colour, our preconceptions, the way we promote stereotypes. We're not innocent in this, everyone needs to fight this fight and also accept occasions when we've been wrong

I remember being in England during the big riots in the early 80's, I remember the LA riots in the early 90's , the London riots in 2011, people have to let off steam but at the end of the day have to go back to work. Hopefully something positive will come out of all this but not end of days stuff

Just curious. Was your upbringing diverse? Mine was and I honestly don’t even notice skin colour, race, etc.
