You don't "wait your turn", nor did I ever say you should, you fucking work and accept the fact that huge change takes serious time. You don't demand instant revolution and accept nothing less, that's just childish, idealistic stupidity that will only hurt you in the short and long term.

IF you want change, you vote in Biden, you win the senate, you start pushing through some changes. Then push further left next time, then further, then further. You don't demand the moon and refuse anything less. That's how you end up watching Jeremy Corbyn getting stuffed by probably the worst prime ministerial candidate the Tories have ever rolled out, which leads to things getting even further away from what you want in the first place.

Although who knows, maybe another handful of riots and the entire US will decide to just get rid of capitalism, all the police officers will decide to instantly not be racist, power mad assholes and all those far right nutters with the guns will just sit back and decide they were wrong.

Spoke to a friend in Atlanta last night, she was saying loads of far right white supremacists have been arrested in and amongst the riots. She's not one to go on daft conspiracies so i looked into it and it's definitely happening. They're going into quiet areas and setting businesses on fire. Got mentioned on channel 4 news and all this evening.

It's not the fear of change on the left, it's the fact that a Bernie nomination would unites the Right against the Dem's and cost them the election.

If the Dem's win with a big majority in the House and Senate they can effect change from within. I really think there is an appetite to move forward with change this time round.
 
I listened to Colin Murray on 5Live just before 10pm. He was talking to a woman who lives in Minneapolis who gave some powerful testimony. What brought me up short was after what as a lengthy discourse he said -

" can I stop you there - we have been talking for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. 8 minutes and 46 seconds - thats how long Derek Chauvin had his knee on George Floyds neck"

Even though I have seen it in full it still made me think and sent shivers down my spine because I was graphically aware of how long passed in these events. Gruesome.

The funny thing is he's so obsessed with Bernie, who is endorsing Biden, that he refuses to accept Biden.

It's so far beyond stupid that at this point it's better to just laugh at his posts, he's reached Dax levels on inanity.
 
Apparently this copper had numerous previous misconduct charges against him..
At what point would he of been given the sack ??
