George Floyd murder / Derek Chauvin guilty of murder

Looks like he overdosed on knees to the neck then......verdict suicide?

His answer is so absurd, it's quite maddening!

The peaks, the valleys, nooks, the crannys and the hoops they will jump or go through to justify their POV is shocking.

You don't understand I'm so tired of it.

I've actually lost faith in some Human Beings, this evening.

I'm closing BM, tonight.

Night all.

Okay, let's get the whole story before jumping to conclusions as to how and why he was at the property. It's absolutely pointless to get bits and pieces dripping through the media.

It’s irrelevant why he was there.

The issue is cops shooting an unarmed man in the back seven times.

The issue is a kid travelling from Illinois with an assault rifle to shoot BLM protestors and, it seems, getting a pass from the police on the scene. This is also the allegation in Portland where cops stood by to allow counter protestors to attack protestors with impunity.

Everything around that is just noise, an attempt to deflect, confuse and pass the blame onto the victims as much as possible. It’s like rape and ‘was the woman asking for it, dressing provocatively, was she drunk, etc’. The issue there is consent and without consent it is rape. The point of much of these posts is to portray the victim as the problem, just as there is an attempt to blame the woman for rape.

The Police did the same thing in Philadelphia. Were hanging out with counter-protestors with bats during the initial BLM protests. I'm sure nearly every major city across the country has similar stories. It's a serious, deep rooted problem (I would say pandemic but we already have enough of those) and anyone who doesn't recognize that is deluding themselves.

For an example of victim blaming you have this. It’s their fault for being out. Like the rape analogy. It’s her fault for being out at the bar. Her fault for dressing as she did. The aggressor is excused his crime and in this case the police are are also excusing themselves for not doing their duty.

This in turn feeds the impression the system is rigged, leading to yet more trouble and so the cycle continues. While authorities continue to refuse to accept responsibilities, and people refuse to accept there is a problem the greater the pressure builds.

I tend to stay out of this forum but I wanted to share this news because I now the NBA is not very popular in the UK and this might not get much attention, but this is pretty monumental:

Milwaukee Bucks (near Kinosha, team of the likely soon to be 2x MVP) refuse to take the court for their playoff game:

Now the rest of the NBA teams are following suit:
and

Can't understate how monumental and powerful this is. THAT is how you use your platform!

One more to follow on from these.

Add storming State Legislature buildings to this.

‘To be clear: there is no other Western democracy I can think of where armed men in camo and other military-style gear regularly turn up on the streets of cities and towns, who aren't themselves anything to do with law enforcement but who get left alone by law enforcement.’ @mehdirhasen

That's fine, then.

I motion 'overdose of neck under knee' as the verdict.

*high five*

He should have removed his neck, the silly boy.
No Bigga, it strongly suggests that him being high on drugs was the likely reason why he was incoherent and foaming at the mouth. And less likely because he was Claustrophobic and scared too be alone like you thought.

But hey, stick around. You may just learn something.

What an Asshole! So you are a black man in a show with 2 other black men. If he really believed in the injustice of the Blake shooting he should simply have called in and told his co-host I don't think I'm coming in. Boycotting in solidarity with the NBA players.

No no no. He did not do that. Instead he came in, waited till the camera was rolling, and put on a performance and made the story about himself and made his co-hosts, especially Shaq and Barkley who are also black, look like unsupportive fools.

Just idiocy all around.
