Yeah funny that if I'm driving the car in a bank robbery and one of my fellow criminals shoots someone, I can be charged with murder in some states. Doesn't seem to apply to cops who find themselves in the same situation though, even when they had ample opportunity to prevent it.They are waiting their turn........they had better ask their Union to spend more than fifty quid hiring a defence team....
Not defending that ridiculous law btw, just pointing out how it only seems to apply one way.
Anyway, great result in the end. And it only took a video clearly showing the murder happening to get justice. Pathetic that even yesterday the BBC (for the sake of balance, presumably) managed to find one cop to interview still willing to defend Chauvin, who believes that even if he's convicted, it's just because of public opinion rather than the obvious evidence of murder. It just shows this idea of a few bad apples is utter bollocks. The whole system is corrupt and they always look out for their own no matter what they've done. No better than a criminal gang in uniform.
