They don't work for the CPD. They were amongst number of people to whom the CPD gave a small amount of money to help them in the case of fines etc, to the tune of 35 dollarydoos. It seems to have been the most incredible return on 35 dollarydoos, in the history of dollarydoos.

These were Ana Marie Archila and Marie Gallagher. Archila is the Co-Executive Director of the CPD.

Yeah but the Kochs are attacked for being right wing and powerful whereas Soros is attacked for being Jewish and powerful.

What some of us object to and it's only come to light recently is a few bemoaning billionaires spending money to influence politics whilst having no problem with a billionaire spending money to influence politics........

You won't see me disagree with that, the coverage of him in Hungary is unsettling to say the least. I don't know a huge amount about him, he's for freedom of movement and supports liberal causes, it's natural the emboldened right wing will attack him.
He's also very critical of Israel which is the darling of the European right all of a sudden.

He’s very critical of the current Israeli government but is a supporter of Israel in general. This is an interesting article where his son is interviewed.
