Georgiy Sudakov

What links?
Shakhtar Donetsk chief executive Sergiy Palkin has revealed that Manchester City are “interested” in attacking midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

Speaking before Sudakov played against Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, Palkin said:

“Manchester City is interested in him, and other clubs from England are also watching him. I’m sure several clubs will make offers for him during the transfer window.”

i can google others but probably the clearest so far, also on the usual insider, bbc, givemespot, varying levels of bullshit over the last 12 months.

He may come, he may not. However, I seem to recall Palkin saying exactly the same thing around this time last year and then again in the January window (a Google search confirms he did indeed link us by name). It's almost as if he knows that there will again be a limited amount of Champions League money coming their way, despite beating Young Boys, and that he needs to drum up both interest and the price.

That vid is the first I've seen of him. Looks talented enough. Not sure where exactly he'd fit, but not against us signing him.

Closest I think from those few clips would be a Kev replacement? No problem with having him learning from him for a bit as an understudy, while he's still with us.
