Regardless of what some pillocks say, I'd love to have Sergio Ramos here. His discipline aside, he is a genuinely world class defender.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Pique's game was shot. He's lost all confidence and at an all-time low.

He's yesterday's newspapers, good for wrapping up your fish & chips but nothing else.

Might be wrong but I'm sure I've heard it a few times.

IMO, you're not wrong at all. I've always found him overrated as a defender (no complaints about his technique and footballing ability but old fashioned defending is also important in England) and he's been even worse lately.

Barcelona are gasping for new defenders so there's no way they'll sell him, I think.

Also no way Kompany will leave.

He's not great this season, looks sloppy.

I think he's actually a really good defender, but he's way too cumbersome for my liking. He looks like the kind of player that'd fall over if a quick striker could work a yard on him. And with the way we let attackers run at us at times you could see it happening..
