he will be our new Caicedo imo. A squad player but now for a title challenging squad. He looks better and fitter than RSC tho so thats a plus. If we need backup players we should certainly look at players like him. Good on average, impressive on his days, and perhaps not another big ego to add to the ego pot. but Mancini can try if he sees fit.
We need a Kalou type player who doesnt seem to be bothered as second string. Gervinho fits the part. But so does Dzeko.

WUMOn July 14th, it was reported that Gervinho would sign for Manchester City on a 4 year deal.

well. as of original post, i was told we were signing him last July, so we obv have a big interest
We tried to sign him in 2008, but couldnt for work permit reasons. Drogba predicted he would become one of the best wingers in the world in 2008. There's definitely interest from liverpool, Arsenal and City. He's one the best bargains out there in Europe right now with having only one year left on his contract and refused to sign a new one. Ranked by alot of people as French leagues best player
