It will only be meaningful if we make it through our first group stage.

Napoli are not an easy team to play against with Hamsik, Lavezzi and Cavani in attack. Victories over these will be essential though. I just hope our fast paced football and build up play will ensure we get the three points to kick off our CL campaign.

I've noticed a wierd mawkishness about this cheesy tune amongst some blues online, albeit not in the flesh. "I'll shed a tear when I hear that tune" etc. Who gives a shit?

No better than the daft Premier League music they have on when players shake hands at the beginning of the game. I'm more excited about what songs the Napoli fans will sing than this daft CL one. I'd also rather hear "Right Here, Right Now" blasting out the speakers than this.

It's not the song itself it's what the song signifies and means. You hear it anywhere and automatically know what it's for. They play it before a Champions League game, something we've never had before so we have every right to get a few goosebumps when we hear it on Wednesday. It sort of shows how far we've come.
