I wonder if anyone could give me a little bit of advice. Usually get the train from Manchester straight through to Euston station. I'm wondering if this is the best option for getting to Wembley Stadium. When I get to Euston, according to Google maps it is about six or 8 miles. Will probably get a taxi, because as far as I know the underground is useless. And the buses the same. Is this right?

Any advice appreciated.

you can get a train to wembley. but you would need to check with Transport for London that it has wheelchair access. Euston definatley does.

-- Fri Apr 08, 2011 11:09 am --

just had a look at station details

there is flat access but you need to book a ramp to get off the train at least 24 hrs ahead.
Might be a bit of an arse so taxi might be better instead.

Where are you sitting? I am travelling with my dad whose in a wheelchair, so might be nearby. I could tell you where I am sitting but the tickets havent arrived.

I would offer you a lift but my dads staying with me in Kent and then we are travelling from there and I am hoping the expensive carpark is easy to find.

try and get hold of alex channon from the supporters club
he will prob be escorting a wheel chair user down so might be able to give some advise

likewise, haven't got my tickets yet. Looks like I am going to have to do a combination of bus and train.
