Like the man said, wear your colours with pride. You won't get any mither down here unless you come looking for it and even more so if you're travelling on your own, you will be left well alone!

I always approach through stoke town centre but only because of the amount of boozers en route to the ground!!!
last week we walked it from the station to ground and then back again, took about 45 mins, same time as the bus did it in after the game. Wore colours with know problems at all, stoke fans on the train on way in told us if we hid colours police wouldnt bundle us in bus or pub. Shame last train to Congs 10.19 meaning if goes to extra time or held back im stuck in stoke, so im driving it tonight.

i live in stoke and yes there are dick heads here but no more then anywhere else

It's no where near as bad as it used to be now in Stoke. The club made a big effort and even alienated some of its own fans with a membership scheme and routed out a lot of the idiots. You even get away fans drinking in the Harvester right by the ground these days. Go looking for trouble and no doubt you will find it same as anywhere else but if you want to watch the game and have a pint then you will be fine.
