so who does what on here, and what would help make crowds bigger and better.

the thread should be non judgemental.

are cup games too dear?

is the hassle of getting tickets too much?

would family tickets make it more affordable?

does the extra time and travel put you off?

would you sooner just watch on the tv?

does the opposition matter, ie obscure euro teams do nothing for you?

would a cash turnstyle help people make an on the spot decision?

does relocating your seat annoy you?

or can you only afford premier games, and budget accordingly?

i personally love the cup games, but take county on sunday, i was frustrated with our cagey approach against lower opposition, i don't think mancini's approach really excites fans, and a more swashbuckling approach would help.

Get over it.

The crowds will come when there are proper games to attend but in the meantime our hardcore of 30k will always go.

i think they should bring back pay on the gate the people would flood back

and also free for under 16 that would make the kids beg mums and dads to take them

If I didn't live and work on the other side of the country then I would definitely go to every cup match. Cup matches are usually weeknights so it is difficult to get over for them.

For me...

Distance - live 120 miles away and work until 6pm - I need to leave at 4pm to get up there in good time.

Money - Ticket price then 240 miles worth of diesel at £1.33 a litre turns a £22.50 (Villa game for example) into a £55 trip inc fuel, plus any food or drinks I buy.

Edit: If anybody lives in South Lincs and I happen to be going to a game I am happy to split fuel costs & don't mind driving, I have company car and just have to pay private fuel.

Can't be arsed unless it really matters or the opposition is of major standing.

Juventus - eg.

that's fair enough,done it myself
just wish more would be more honest like this!
20'000 missing sunday and quite a lot will be in the can't be arsed camp.
there will of course many genuine reasons for not going, so be it that's the way it is.
the crowd sunday was standard for city v that type of opposition.
we would need years of success to have the sold out signs similar to utd, arse, chavski etc in the lower cup games

make the most of the empty ground now cos once we start bring home the silverware the ground will be full of welsh, irish scandic and southern chaps every game
