That's not being a wimp it's just being smart and doing what's best for the team. Gervinho is terrible at striking a ball and always liable to miss. Completely different situation from when Scholes and Kroos refuse to take them.

Gervinho was a tremendous waste of space. One good move all game with all his chances. Could have given to any lad from Ivory Coast and they would have done better.

Best thing he's done is taking himself off the pitch.

Referee has been shit. Had to laugh when Ghana took a free kick and it deflected off one Ivory Coast defensers head onto another Ivory coasts defenders head and went for a corner and he awarded a goal kick. Soft fouls breaking up play all game also.
