I don't know why it would be there, but that's a plastic bag/sheet in the netting that. On the close up you can tell by perception that it's not in the crowd. Looks like it has a bull dog clip in it of sorts. As I say though, fuck knows why there would be a piece of plastic in the netting. A towel yes, but plastic?

Keeper's spare gloves perhaps?

To be honest its what's behind him that scares me more - I have nightmares about ending up sat next to someone like that when I buy an away seat or a concert ticket.

Not sure I'd have done a screen shot with those other windows on view.

Its not a piece of paper in the netting, its a plastic water bottle hanging upside down. There is a strap attached to it aswell. That ghostly image looks like it is part of the strapping.
