The fixtures comment is an interesting one. I have a season ticket for City (men) and used to attend women's matches on an ad hoc basis when the men weren't playing or I wasn't at work. Now I have changed my job to weekday only working I have taken the plunge to buy an ST for the women too. In the past I haven't been to the women if the men are away and they are on the tele. Will see what I do this time!The 'intersection' as you say, is something that could be better, but I don't know the answer. There are a lot of supporters of the men's team who are also interested in supporting the women's team, but it's difficult to attend both on anything like a regular basis due to how the fixtures get moved about.
As a result of this, you're right, it does almost have its own audience.
