Looks like the ref blew just before Rafael's challenge, maybe he assumed he was going to put the ball into touch tho he could/should have played the advantage then called it back if it didn't develop.
red card for rafael? in your opinion?
Why not ? Vinny got one

any gifs whether Tevez clipped that little woman or not?
Rafael didn't go in 2 footed.

Dead good.
Quality from Yaya...
Fucking bent/idiotic from the ref to pull it back when he was through to 2 centre backs with Tevez and Aguero in the middle. 3 on 2 with Evra on the half way line.

Didn't even make the highlights on match of the day. Bent!

Tbh very little did make the highlights on MOTD, couldn't have been much more than 10 minutes footage shown.

Rafaels is deffinetley a two footed lunge. The FA won't do fuck all about that though will they!!

You can't use Vinny's red as an example though because every match would be abandoned by half due to there not being enough players on the pitch.

Vinny took the ball. Not even close to being a foul, let alone a red. I'm not really making any comment about Rafael's tackle, just focussing on the disbelief that Vinny was sent off last season. Opened up an old wound I guess.

2 footed lunge tho one leg was bent behind him when he slid in - he must be Jake The Peg.....

It was reckless and late and probably merited a yellow card - for me it was more akin to Balotelli's foul on Evans (I think it was) than Kompany's 2 footed tackle on Nani (and yes, I know Kompany made no contact with Nani and was unlucky to be sent off but that's the comparison that's been made above)..

-- Fri Dec 14, 2012 2:00 pm --

Genuinely thought that the rag had tripped over a bubble of fresh air. Tevez does clip the back of his left heel. Such a shame that the rag's feet are so linked together that it caused his right foot to buckle under, then his whole body to go crashing down...
