Come on people..when that board went up on that famous day with the additional minutes, was there anyone on here who can HONESTLY say, they knew where that number came from??

At the time we didn't question it,we just heaved a sigh of relief, God smiled on us, and the rest is history.

At some stage we have to take our payback for it..and I reckon that was it yesterday, and if losing 4:3 at the swamp is as bad as it gets this year I'll take it.

We've got a run of winnable games ahead, and the chance to give 'em a battering at our place next year..so let's dust ourselves down, and crack on with being the best team in the land and all the world!

The difference is that 5 mins went up at Wembley and they played just under 6 - not the same as 4 mins and playing 7.

Yes: I knew as it happens as I timed all the subs + the goal celebrations; comes to more than 5 mins, actually. So what it should have been as it happens.

As to payback; well, the Guardian (I think) shows as mentioned on another thread, the raggety rags get continual favourable extra time treatment at rag towers compared even to other big sides when they are losing and need the extra help. When winning, and it would help not to have this extra time, this advantage doesn't apply. Your rule of payback clearly doesn't apply to them.

So no, it's not payback; I just want fairness, as in 99, not even the help the rags consistently get.
