first off, mute this clip, the audio is annoying ... Colombian Jhon Solis turns 20 in Oct, came on today for Romeu at 66m down a goal - twitter thought he energized Girona, liked his performance, CFG owns 44% of him ... or something like that, already looks quicker and better balanced than last season, still a bit colt-ish, somebody to watch at Girona

Pity they are lining the pockets of Aberangers. Up to 9m for an average player but a diver on par with Greg Louganis.

CL, Girona playing another team at the bottom, feyenoord. Kick off 17:45. Don't recognise any of the starting 11 in this.

Girona keeper saved 3 penalties today against Athletic Bilbao and then Girona won it 2-1 by scoring a 99th min penalty themselves

Got tickets to go and see them on 2nd November against Leganes.

Such a weird team. Littered with premier league cast offs

I saw highlights from another match as well with 3 penalties saved.
De Gea saved 2 of them brilliantly but I can't think who the teams were?

Does anyone know somebody from Girona? I would like to attend one of their games in the UCL in Austria at the end of November, wouldnt be a problem to get a ticket, but id prefer to be in the away end and not for all, but for some UCL away games you have to be a member of Girona.
Another reason I'd add is that I looked at going to Sturm Graz v Club Brugge the night after we played in Bratislava and a ticket was €99 in the home end. Didn't want to go that much.

Sturm Graz are playing their European games in Klagenfurt rather than Graz as well FYI.

I know, but thanks, there are some cheaper tickets available in the home end/neutral section if youre early enough and lots of Sturm supporters sell game tickets cheaper as well (cause they had a bundle for all four home games which was way less expensive and sometimes they arent able to go to all games). Next time youre in Austria either try willhaben.at (which is like an austrian version of eBay) or joining a supporters group on facebook. Austrians tend to be a bit shy at first but mostly are happy to help you out.

Looks like there is a big chance of them getting relegated. They lost againg today and their form is disastrous.

I sometimes ask myself what the point of the CFG is, other than some management consultant's wet dream.

I can only think it's nothing to do with football performance, but broader global entertainment possibilities.

It can't be a way of hiding costs from the PL's financial perimeter as Tebas claims, surely? It's a fucking expensive way of doing that .....

I got cheap flights and went to watch their game v Mallorca last Monday, won 1-0 so safe now.

It rained all day (thought the game would be off at one point) so like you I wondered what GFGs end game is as I watched the wonderful Girona fans getting piss wet through in a stadium with minimal cover and portacabin bogs at the back of the stand.

One of their fans said to me "welcome to your reserve team" as I took my seat.

Think their fans deserve better imo.

Sponsor's reach exposure to the world when negotiating is a big plus! How many players have we actually got from them? 1 or 2 max

Our CFG is arguably the most pointless thing in sport.
