Giudetti

I can only think that Mancini does not rate this lad as he would save us a fortune - hope it doesn't come back to bite us in future years - should have sell on clauses

Agent, agent, agent:
The Italian agent of Manchester City striker John Guidetti claims the Sweden international is attracting interest from Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

The 20-year-old forward could find himself on the move this summer, with his path to the first team blocked at the Etihad Stadium.

City hold Guidetti in high regard, but there is no place for him at present in Roberto Mancini's plans.

As a result, the youngster has spent a lot of time out on loan in the last couple of years.

He may feel that the time is right to move on, and is reported to have already expressed an interest in moving to Italy.

Lazio have been mentioned as a possible destination, but Fiorentina could be tempted to make a move once the transfer window re-opens.

"There are a lot of conditions to meet before he can arrive in Italy," Roberto De Fanti told calciomercato.com.

"At City he is behind many top players and is rated at around seven to nine million euros.

"Fiorentina are a club that have shown an interest in his situation.

"Their sporting director (Daniele) Prade is a football expert at international level and knows Guidetti well."

Was about to say... I can see us selling some of these developing lads, like Guidetti, Roman, not giving game time to the likes of Savic, then 5/6 years down the line it bites us right on the ass.

Definite contract clauses, like a sell-on %

That price is way, way too low if true.
If that fucking Jay Rodriguez from Burnley has gone for £6m, then letting Guidetti go for little more than that is a shocking piece of business on our part.
It seems we have still got a bit of the 'buy high, sell low' policy that has dogged CIty for decades

his dad is his agent just ignore these imposter agents

Loan him there with a high option to buy, not like the Italians will buy anyway. win win

Will be mad/sad if this kid doesn't get a chance here, what else can he do?

And Im pretty sure Mancini does rate him or he wouldn't have convinced him to sign that contract last summer when we had Tevez for sale. (I think)

Funny that his agent is the one deciding what value Guidetti will be sold by City. He'll be in for a rude shock when he brings it to City's attention..
