Whenever we concede a goal these days it is down to Dunne. Dunne on form is a top central defender in this league. Dip in form last season affected him but he wasnt the only one who dipped last season. Our back 4 was the worst we have seen in a long time. Maybe it is the manager but under Pearce and Sven they got the defence sorted under Hughes it seems like defending is not high on the training pitch.
If we are to do well this season they have to work on defending. Whoever is looking after that side of the team has to get it right. No matter who we sign if the players in the back 4 cant defend as a unit we will be fucked against a decent team this year.
