give eastlands its kippax back, straw poll.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, swap the away fans with the section of blues from 109,110 and 111, therefore you mix the corner singers with the south stand singers and you get something like the Old Kippax, add to that the away fans are tucked away easily in the corner, Simples, how hard can it be.

And as for the mard arses saying 'well everyones together now' for fecks sake surely it isnt that hard to organise your seats with your mates so you still stand with each other is it? FFS Get a grip!

Agree with this.

I actually think it would be even simpler just to move the away fans intot he South Stand where City fans are now. It's the same size and every City fan would stay together, just offer them a "mirror" version of their seat.

There were far to may choruses of "We are not really standing alone till I die" in the big games last season.

Lol, exactly Dave

Since we played Portsmouth in August 2003 and saw the game back on MOTD and saw the away fans in pride if place in the South Stand on camera, I thought that they should be swapped over with our own South Stand fans.

7 years on I still think that now!

All SS blues could just mirror-image their seat, if you like, from where they are now and join up with the East Corner and fuck this stupid 'my dogs bigger than your dog' rivalry off!

It'd join up about 3-4000 blues altogether and increase our noise levels no end as they'd all be singing as one, the rest of the ground would hear them better than 1500 on either side singing different songs and would encourage the whole ground to get going!

It is simple with little disruption. Blues still have the exact same view as before but from the other side of behind the goal. When we go for our top atmospheres you'd all be seen on tele with the bananas flags banners shirts etc which would be great!

And it would fuck te away fans off where they can't be seen on tele (sometimes it looks like theirs millions of them and they've taken over that end, or when it's empty it looks like we can't fill our ground!)

This.

100% with that opinion. Any new updates?

the 3rd tier does´nt hold enough fans for cup games, we have to give them 6000, it only hold 5500 so some home fans would have to be moved if a club takes the full allocation, policing half and half may prove too differcult.we need somewhere where they can all fit for cup games. league games is no prob.

not so If the ground is not suited to 6000 then 5500 would be fine
the swamp never give the full allocation to away fans

we should put away fans in the most expensive seats so more cheap seats for city fans

THIS!! The Swamp dwellers have never complied with this....ever!! So we should be given the same dispensation, 5,500 away tickets for the cup....take it or leave it, oh and by the way they are the most expensive as well......like we have had to endure for many (many!!) years!

Not being funny, but......

For the FINAL time, the away fans 'CAN'T' be moved. This is due to various reasons, PL rules, Health and safety issues, the design of the stadium and season ticket/home supporters.

The club has looked at this issue in depth and it can't be done, mainly due to the stadium layout. When and if COMS is redeveloped, that's when the away fans will be relocated. Until then they are staying put.

Before anyone says, how do I know for certain, I was invited to City and given a verbal and visual presentation and told exactly why the away fans can't be moved.

Also. You will have noticed that city are putting a huge emphasise on the South Stand for next season. I don't know the details yet, but from what I was told last season, city are going to do as much as they can to make the South Stand the place to be for atmosphere at COMS.
