Good starting bid Newcastle have no funds what so ever for players, the window is closing rapidly, they desperately need some new players in before the window slams shut. The balls in our court but i hope we dont do ourselves out of the deal.

After reading Kinnnear's ill advised comments about Ashley losing £2bn through the credit crunch, and struggling to pay the wages, what does he expect?
Why should we throw good money away if we think we can get him on the cheap?

Did Ashley ever even have £2b? Thought it was always claimed to be closer to 1.4.
Would laugh if the fat cunts in debt now.

In the top 3 keepers in the league for me. Brilliant player would be a big player for us and give Hart some time to improve. Any think less than £8 million is a bargain IMO, hes got at least 5 years left in him.
Villa paid £3 million for Fridel in the summer hes going on 38 !
