I think next season is time to Put Shay on the bench and give Jo a run in the first team, I cant remember Shay doing anything over the last few months that has made me think this guy is champ league keeper, when was the last class performance he made?

think given is a world class shot stopper but struggles in all other aspects! I'd I hart in before given any day of the week. Made some great saves for brum again yesterday!

"when was the last class performance he made"
when our defence was shit...thats when.

Given is a awesome shot stopper but the rest of his game is average. Hes quite short so crumbles on crosses when he does actually decide to come for one. Also his kicking has started to go out of play. Hart might have saved the goal yesterday with him being taller. Hes got more reach.

In my opinion Hart should be ahead of Given. Shot stopping isnt good enough.

Given has had the same issues his whole career, there's a reason why the top clubs never came calling for him.
He's still a decent keeper but if you want a keeper that can help take the pressure off his defence then he isn't that keeper.

I am in 2 minds with Shay. He organises the defence well enough and talks to his defenders. His distribution at times can be a bit iffy. His shot stopping is second to none in the league. As for Joe his time will come but maybe not next season I think the club should send him back to Birmingham for another year get him first team football as he has come on leaps and bounds this year and another year there he will be a big time player at City and will take over from Shay. To be honest we are lucky to have both keepers on our books and either will add to the team in the future.

But he might be cup tied!

I don't know if anyone thinks so but I feel that Shay has a real weakness getting down very low - so anything in the bottom corner has a good chance of going in. Add this to his obvious weakness with crosses and he isn't as good as the media thinks, still a good keeper at Premier League level but not special (and in my opinion, still below the standard of Coton and James).

As Joe Hart is still not the finished article, I can understand why we are stil being linked with Buffon.
