So all the nay sayers who were saying Given should start over Hart.

You have been answered.

err if you listened to the game west brom were all over us and had plenty of great shots it could have been 5-1 being realistic but given made sure it wasnt..

hart will always be our number 1 but dont slate given.

Haven't see the match at all, but Paul Jewell said he was our only decent player.

Not slating him, just glad the whole Given v Hart debate can be put to rest. The second goal was due to him. At this level you want to start for the team you dont make these mistakes in Cup matches, id rather we dropped 3 points than booted out a cup match.

Santa Cruz was terrible and I wonder if these players still have any desire to play for the team. I will probably get slated but I dont think Given is too bothered.

-- Wed Sep 22, 2010 10:12 pm --

He was our man of the match. Pulled of 4 world class saves before they finally scored. Maybe get some facts before you spout verbal diarrhea and make a fool of yourself.

He cost us the goal, simple best player on the pitch or not. If he wants to be number 1 like he has been saying since Hart took over he SHOULD NOT make mistakes like that. I dont really care how I look I have my opinion and will not blindly follow the pack just to be deemed cool or somehow worthy to enter some "Bluemoon forum frat".

Hart is better, question answered.

Dude a mistake that costs you 3 points in the early half of the season vs a mistake that gets your team knocked out the cup very different scenarios.
Tell me you believe 100% Given is commited to the City cause and he deserves to start over Hart?
