Given did very well today looked the part. It is nice to see a keeper come for a corner and catch the ball instead of punching it away. I think he could well sort out this defence.

MOTM today by a long way, the guy is just absolute class, if it wasn't for him we would of lost today, fantastic debut and he looked like he has settled in well with the lads
Also i noticed he clapped and supported alot of the players if they did something very well, he did it loads of times to ned and kompany today, it makes a player more confident when you have a keeper behind you whos encouraging you so much,
Feels like we have 5 at the back now with Given there, absolutely delighted with this signing and imo we have the best keeper in the premiership stood between the sticks and he's certainly one of the best keepers in the world,
His first save from Alves today, just a world class save and for Given it's just a routine save in some cases, just watch and enjoy on MOTD later.

Shay is without doubt the perfect signing for us, and i doubt we will acquire a better player in the next ten years, pound for pound, an absolute bargain. He is a class act on and off the pitch.

What a bargain and just think we may of ended up with Buffon at £120 million if reports were correct!

We'd have been 2 down at half time if it wasn't for him.
Considering he had little to do for large parts of the game
