Giving way to an Ambulance question

It’s all very well them saying you will be prosecuted but can appeal if you can provide evidence.
Like what?
Presume all emergency vehicles have dashboard cams? Grab the reg and make a note of the time and location, point out that you had to weigh up two possible wrongs and try to choose the lesser and appeal that it's not in the public interest to prosecute you for getting out of the way of an emergency vehicle as it could discourage others from doing so and potentially cost lives.

Stay where you are or pull to the left if you can. The more you move the more you are a hazard for the ambulance driver. You're not allowed to go through red lights. Highway code states you pull over and stop when safe to do so.
