anyone up for it ? 4pm before the rangers game, show these glasweigans how its done

When is the game? Im thinking of going to this. Live in Dumfries, and Glasgow is only an hour away. We should take over Ashton Lane, (Similar to the Printworks) where we can drink it up before the match and then, back onto byers road to the tube station called Hillhead that will take us to Ibrox.

my daughter and her husband live in glasgow ,so i will be there and spend a couple of days up there, hoping its a weekend match though

august 5th

just spoke to rangers fan i know, glasgow green on east side of city, near celtic park, so not suitable for meet up,so stick to pubs on paisley rd west, 10-15 pubs from city centre to the ground , great pubcrawl

Can the mods make this a Sticky? Just so we can get an idea on numbers, and where to meet?

I still think Ashton Lane is the way to go. Hillhead station is only a 30 yard walk, or 60 yard stagger, from there to get the tube.

And De Niro, dont worry, there is a University just at the back so you can check out the Scottish totty!

Here are some pubs in the Lane

I'd rather stay away from the Rangers fans down Paisley Rd. Doesn't take much to irritate them, and they will be looking for trouble as they did, or a small minority, in Manchester.

Oran Mor mate. This is the area. I live about 20 mins walk from here. It is very like Didsbury.
