Glass Tunnel now taking shape

i domt know but if i owned a company that sank a large sponsorship fee into the club id want some sort of return ie tickets for games and private dinning area or am i being unreasonable
i dont know what we provide at present does anyone know

OK back on topic - to try and understand whats going on with this flaming tunnel, here are the three layers of the Colin Bell Stand at Level 1 and the two levels below it

So here's the Level 1 Concourse level - its at this level that the walls have been built - you can see it will create route direct from the Front Door to the back of Level1 Block 126

Stepping down one level we have this - this is the level that leads to that seemingly unused entrance in the middle of Level 1 Block 126

And then finally we get down to this where the bulk of the rooms are including the current tunnel and players changing rooms and also the lower coach entrance

So somehow City are jigging around access across those three levels

No - I knew you were having a laugh. It was just to answer the curious and save them looking it up.

TBH if you look it up it gives alternates that are receptacles to puke in so you wern't far off anyway.

I may be missing the point and this might already have been covered but this can only be a bad thing?

All this does is encourage people to delay going into their seat before KO, and then leave their seat 5 minutes before HT and run down to the concourse to catch a glimpse of the players walking past.
You won't see anything you can't already see on Citys Youtube.

you ARE missing something. this glass tunnel won't be for the great unwashed to see the players, it will be for those special special fans who are paying more than £8000+VAT a season for their seat

Do you nosh Khaldoon off or something?

You seem to think that everything the club does is fantastic, you slate long-term fans off for being angry at the changes affecting them and their family/friends and have a pop at them for having the temerity to criticise the club for doing things that are questionable to say the least.

I've seen you in the past shrug your shoulders and accept the huge rises in season ticket costs for some, maybe you are happy with everything the club does, but stop being so myopic and accept others have different views, everybody has different circumstances, I think it's disgusting the club hasn't found a solution for friends/family to sit together again, after disrupting the 'modus operandi' by making certain sections corporate.

None of this has affected me, but the club is not beyond reproach, especially when they always spout the line about us, the 'supporters' being hugely important to the club, it's obviously bullshit as the line should say 'wealthy supporters'.

Despite the amazing upturn in fortune for the club I love and support, I find myself becoming more and more distant from it as each season passes.

It won't take much more for me to give up my season ticket.
See ya

My mates in corporate in the east stand and he was invited to a tour of all the corporate facilities a couple of weeks ago. The club are trying to get him to upgrade and pay more. He was told the cost of the glass tunnel corporate is £11,000. Don't know if that was with or without the VAT.
The cost of the one in south stand level 2 I think he said was £2500 and they're having trouble selling it so god knows who's going to pay 11 grand.
He pays £1800 for joes bar, he gets a padded seat a car park space and access to away tickets no matter what his loyalty points are. Still has to pay for food and drink, and still has to drink out of plastic glasses. Not sure it's worth the extra £1100 a year he's paying compared to his old seat.

Need to get this built before the derby worth £11,000 of anyone's money to see Jose sent off :+)
Wonder what say the away teams have in this ? Can they object too it ?

I cannot see what objection they could have, it's our tunnel.
I would expect it to be one way mirrored glass at some parts as I doubt even our players want a load of people gawking at them, and putting them off.

I know a few teams don't like tunnel can,as an example only would utd have been happy if phone footage of Jose getting sent off was out there seconds after it happened ?
Or if one of our players had a bust u with pep as an examle

Well I suppose the club would argue that tbe players and manager should act professional until the dressing room and also during a match at half time and full time if manager or player wants to kick off they are still sanctioned by officials if it's in the tunnel now, so if they have a strop in the glass viewing area and look like a dick in front of people, that's their own fault and tough tits to them.

I don't see the appeal of the idea to be fair but if it's being done here and spurs (and others will probably look into it) players and managers will just have to get used to it.

With tunnel cam anything controversial is edited out ,punters with the ability to put controversial incidents out in real time via phone cameras ,carnt see clubs being happy with that

The glass is likely to be soundproofed, though, so unless an actual punch-up occurs (in which case the press are going to get hold of accounts of it either way) then the best the videos will be able to show is vague attempts at lip-reading arguments.
