I'm set for getting tickets in the morning, will be my 4th year :)
It's not all about the headliners either.. there is so many other great bands, food & cider for you to have a good time, get a group of you and have a laugh!

Of course not, but I just think it's a shame that younger bands don't really get a look in if some band thats been around for 20+years fancy a big pay day. Musically my generation seems obsessed with looking backwards and perhaps even more shockingly turning to the 80's for inspiration. As Mike Skinner once said "let's push things forward".

I have heard Mad dona & U2

Jesus...that's pretty shocking.

You could easily go for the full 5 days, not see a band and still have the best 5 days of your life. In fact, Id go as far as saying it actually gets better once the bands finish at 11pm.

You could indeed. I would rather do Kendal calling though.

I've been to loads of festivals...Glasto beats the others hands down IMO..I never even bother looking or listening to the rumours of who's on...It's so much more than the bands...it just comes alive after midnight....and just wandering about in the day always brings suprises.
Since the registration thing has been around the vibe of it has changed too...was quite nasty years ago but now it's great, if people have organized themselves to get a ticket they seem to want to enjoy it more when they eventually get there.
If you have never been it's hard to describe but it's my highlight of the year...I'm cracking on a bit so have the cash to do loads of stuff now and it never disappoints.
It'll be my anniversary year too....30th festival ;0)

I've been a fair few times ('98, '99, '00, '09) and the lineup does play a part. As next years looks shocking I won't even entertain the idea. If I want to get smashed and listen to shit bands I could just drink cider and watch MTV at home...it won't cost £200 either. 1999 was the best year for me :)

We just got ours.. will be our 6th year and I always love it.. rain or sun.. alls good :)

I heard that Kylie is a rumour.. and Eavis said last year he has one female headliner this year.. so dunno..

But thats what a rumour is... a rumour... not proven. So don't ever judge on whether you want to go based on the headliners. A lot of people said that Jay-Z year and boy did they regret it!
