Ah man Texas was fantastic, that was an emotional performance there, I was getting a bit choked up myself, that meant a lot to the band there and you could feel the love from the crowd.

Great start for me for my Glasto weekend.

I am watching foo fighters now. Sure they a good band but the thought of being stood in that crowd a mile from the stage does absolutely nothing for me whatsoever. Could think of not a lot worse.

Two of my kids are there.

I have been to Glastonbury, albeit 25 years ago had the time of my life. Atmosphere was amazing, wouldn't fancy it now though.

Years back when me and her were in a club in Camden, she pointed at a girl and said she looked just like Alexa Chung. I quipped the fella with her looked like the singer from Arctic Monkeys.

When I went to the bar to get drinks, I realised it looked like them for a reason.

All I have heard about it is how expensive it is, and most pictures are of the middle aged people with disposable income who can afford to be there.

I don't know if that's truthful because I am just getting the news from the media reporting on it.

I was in a bar in Boston years back and thought why has that scruffy little old fella got loads of young birds with him . Five minutes later they were putting rod Stewart songs on the jukebox and making a racket. Who goes to a pub and puts their own songs on? Sir Rod does

Im considering watching Hot Chip as seem like my kind of thing and I don’t know many Arctic Monkeys songs. Any fans on here?

Hot Chip every time for me. Saw them at bluedot a while back and they were excellent, and I’ve watched tv of at past Glastonbury which was brill too. I’d take them over them there Monkeys every day.

Yep, me too; enjoyed it more as it went on.
(Though as an oldie, at the end it did make me yearn for the original classic ;-)
