Turned over from goldfrapp to editors, and back off, sound like the generic indie fare they always have, got Barrington Levy on
He’s an Everton fan to be fair to himMcCartney. Bet he jibbed in like all the other scousers
My son did sound at Uni and he commented to me that not 1 band who has been on has sounded "right". His main gripes were Axl Rose (obviously), The Pretenders (he said the singing was in a different key to the band), and of course the Arctic Monkeys. There’s been some scratchy and awful vocal performances this weekend, but Tom Smith of Editors has a great live voice.
Unfortunately I did watch them both at Glastonbury and IOW... Debbie can't sing, and the band rescued the show, especially Clem Burke. Glen Matlock still going through the motions after all these years! You didn't see Blondie? And the 3rd Pistol?
Talking.of Blondie.... the 2 worst singles.they ever did was Rapture.and The Tide Is High.
.
The very 2 songs the BBC just aired
