Glastonbury 2023

Enjoyed the Lathums, good mix of songs, crowd seemed to enjoy them too. Pity they went on at in a later slot, tough gig the early slots with the festival goers not even half pissed or stoned.

Thanks for that, genuinely didn't know, who are the Bossoms you mention
Saw them in Munich in 2018 in a venue about twice the size of the Witchwood in Ashton, €14, that was Thursday night, came home and they were playing at the Pig Sty in Trafford at the Rugby League Grand Final on the Saturday.

In Munich, me and Mrs H were probably the eldest there, young girl asked Mrs H, “are you the mother of one of the band?” Cheeky fucker, she’s old enough to be the Grandmother.

I've gotta say, as someome who wasn't born when he come about, it always seems these performers from bygone eras seem to have a much better level of stage craft than modern artists.

I guess it's because back then you had to do the rounds to get recognition, whereas now you can pretty much get picked up off social media without having played a proper gig.

Would I buy tickets to his concerts? No is the honest answer but he smashed it today imo and had I been there I’d have loved every second of it.

I’m 52 btw so do remember him ;-)
