Glastonbury 2023

yes he’s flat tonight but if you don’t get these lyrics you’re fucking dead inside

edit: as a northerner you’ve lived and breathed every single one of these tracks, this **** is describing your life. Ok his singing is gash tonight but this shit is real.
For sure the lyrics are amazing, way ahead of their years when they were wrote which is why I was attracted to them in the first place. A big part of that was his accent which fitted perfectly. Such a shame he's changed it, it's ruined their live performances imo.

BBC presentation does not seem right without Mark Radcliffe … and not just ‘cause he’s a Blue :-(
Yep, that **** with Jo Whiley, well over the top:

“Kelis played a barmstorming session” no she didn’t it was shit

Then “Venbee is crushing it” no she didn’t, she’d not even played her song at that point. That song was crap as well, something about Jesus being on Cocaine, ffs.

Better than Lauren Laverne saying "Glaston-Berry" though, but yeah.....godawful presentation that makes Thogden and his dad kinda tolerable.

She’s tidy for 57 mind

Since they started televising it, every single performance at Glastonbury has been brilliant and flawless. If Elton John turns up on Sunday night and has a clutcher during his first song Jo Whiley will call it an astonishing performance

Then repeat it six more times over the weekend.

BBC coverage at the moment is Radio 1 in the TV, not enough variety in the highlights package, some weirdos called Fever Ray now, you can tell the crowd is bored from the lack of response at the end of the track, not wasting my time watching this pretentious shite.
