Glastonbury 2023

I understand where you are coming from, so it deserves a like, but only five decent acts on average every year for 335 quid isn't worth the price tag.

I don't like the political statements side to the festival, which always result in a Twatter debate with everyone thinking they are their own juno and so far that rubbish hasn't come up so far, so that is welcoming.

I don't think it's shit, it's just overrated overall. Foo Fighters, Pale Waves and The Pretenders are so far the only bands I would pay to go see all while ITN etc get all giddy over it.

Am not jealous of anyone there, but the way they post on Facebook every so often photos of themselves at the festival is just rubbing people's noses in it. I'm not jealous of people living on a campsite for a weekend, especially when the Foo Fighters are doing their own thing next year.

I would rather go to see the bands I like at their own shows, none of this camping and Camping Gaz baked beans breakfast nonsense, give me a comfy hotel and being fresh as a daisy any time.

This festival used to "have it all", not any more, but am looking forward to Guns and Roses.

£335 is pricey, but that’s a whole weekend and pretty much the most famous artists and bands around the world - plus so many other stages for a bit of everything

In terms of value for money - it beats paying 60/70 quid to watch a prem game for 90 minutes

You lost me at "only five decent acts a year on average".

One of the best things about attending a festival is having the chance to sample new things. It's a five day smorgasbord of new experiences for £335. A bargain.

No-one goes to a festival just to see their favourite big name bands.

Why do they keep showing the artics between each band on the pyramid stage stream, they were bad enough first time around

But it’s not just a weekend…I’ve been 5 times since 2010…most recent 2019…once we arrived on the tues night…the rest on Wednesday….still plenty to see and do until you leave on Monday morning…..essentially 5 nights. Amazing place.
