The drummer thinks he's better than he is and the Muppets in the Glasto crowd lap up the brief solo - they'd shit themselves if they'd seen a Peart or Jordinson solo, even a Tommy Lee upside down one.

I'm still always amazed about the sound the bassist gets, have to remember it's just him. They do a pretty good live set in fairness

That was average. Headline act? I think not.

They'd have blown the place apart in the late 80s, now just aging musicians but without the general recognition from the crowd of a Rolling Stones etc. Not sure they should have been a headliner anymore

Guns n roses were top notch tonight once they turned axl’s microphone up. He was drowned out for a while but come the end proved he still has it

Watched Guns N' Roses for best part of an hour, switched to Fat Boy Slim........

Wish I'd have watched Fat Boy Slim from the start, he's been immense whereas GNR, pretty average (although Slash is different class)

Lana was kicked off the stage, and her mic was killed off as she was part way through her act.

So she serenaded the crowd with a couple of her biggest hits with no sound.

Jeez. I guess the story will come out .. unprofessional from her side, were the organisers being inflexible, or are the terms of their licence a midnight curfew on the live stages(?).
I thought the music carried on later in the dance tents anyway.

Or should she just have cut the 1st 30 mins of her planned set, so she could play the favourites and keep the fans happy?

No idea mate, don't know if they have to stop by midnight. She blamed it on her hair taking ages to do. Wtf.
