Glastonbury 2023

So much for all these trendy bands that couldn't carry a tune to save their lives. The acts who "knocked it out of the park" have been Rick Astley, Cat Stevens and G&R. With Elton to come tonight. And as for Lana Del Ray; as the hip young kids would say, "LOL".

The Elton John set will be emotional. I can see the old queen having a cry at the end.

I also expect a few surprise guests coming on with him to say goodbye yellow brick road.

Get the bingo card ready

‘Seriously, this is a headline act ?’
‘He doesn’t look well at all’
‘WTF has happened to him’
‘Looks like my Nan’
‘Used to be good, but no this is awful’
‘This is shit’
‘He murdered that one’

There is no bingo card. He has been sporadic since the early 80s. He was very good in the 70s

I'm still standing is his best song tho

and

FFS not Dave Grohl/Rick Astley* again

*delete as applicable

Yusuf was outstanding but why namecheck Ricky Gervais then not sing ‘Lilywhite’, which Gervaise considers to be the best song ever written by anyone?

Seems a bit cheesy the Blossoms/Rick Astley/Smiths thing.

I saw Rick join Foo Fighters on stage and thought that was actually brilliant. This though is a bit weird.
