She's old enough to know better then! Time for her Sanatogen multivitamins and Werther's originals. Her and Elton can have a game of cribbage later on!she was born in 1945 ffs what do you expect lol :)
How's things Croc?I was named after one of those songs.
I'm not a massive fan. Tumbleweed connection is more my bag. The last 7 songs you list there are not what I consider anywhere near his best stuff. His second album is good too.In no particular order.....
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Pinball Wizard
Saturday night's alright for fighting
Candle in the wind (the original)
Song for Guy
Sacrifice
Rocket Man
Tiny Dancer
Benny and the Jets
Crocodile Rock
Daniel
Don't let the sun go down on me
Sad Songs
Circle of Life
I want love
So yeah, mostly his earlier stuff. Not sure I'd call them folky, mind. The guy (along with Bernie Taupin) penned some fantastic songs.
Beat me to it...How's things Croc?
That’s me!Crocodile?
;-)
Given whose songs he smashed yesterday, I'm loving the irony here!Astley has smoked them all because he can sing. Not many can.
He's one of the best drummers I've ever seen. Absolutely top class.Clem Burke has hardly changed
Great ABBA track, that!That’s me!
That’s me!
I saw Bon Scott perform Highway to Hell. Astley was great. No irony.Given whose songs he smashed yesterday, I'm loving the irony here!
Cribbage, haven't played that for so long, my granda's favourite game, still got a board and pegs. She's old enough to know better then! Time for her Sanatogen multivitamins and Werther's originals. Her and Elton can have a game of cribbage later on!
The face that filled a thousand socks.
I’m hoping somehow he can do I won’t let son go down on me as it’s George Michaels 60th today (or would’ve been)Really looking forward to Elton John tonight, he's a genuine legend. It's sad to start thinking there's a whole generation of legends who won't be with us for much longer so ENJOY IT whilst it lasts!
Cat Stevens was absolutely brilliant as well, but I expected that. I enjoyed Leftfield as well and it brought good memories back from the 90s.
I thought Fat Boy Slim was absolutely brilliant. Clever, humourous and just non stop classics. Whatever you think of DJs and producers etc you can't deny he has an ear for a hook and reads the crowds.
Hahaha fuckin BrilliantThe face that filled a thousand socks.
